BookMaker Poker offers a unique real feel experience, as you have a "frog view" perspective looking over the table with a circle of
players from your position and your hole cards facing down! There is a learning and adjustment curve here, but well worth it in the
long run. All players, including the dealer are avatars. Considering the features on offer, everything runs smoothly although the odd
timeout may occur for those with weaker internet connections.
There is a log of all betting actions, that shows who bets and calls and how much. There is also a player notes function. David
Sklansky and Mason Malmuth were consulted for the original Yatahay Poker Network software (at true Poker) to develop an anti-collusion
system, which automatically flaggs suspicious activity and is then reviewed by the security team.
Playability -
good
A selection of 3-D avatars to choose from - allowing you to select a personality that best suits your playing style. Sound effects
and live chat with other players (you can turn this on or off), makes the game feel like you are in a real poker room. The lobby
can be confusing at first but with a little effort, not too hard to get used too.
Traffic -
good
A little slow generally but gathering momentum. It's usually not a problem to find a game at most limits during peak hours and the
tournament structures are increasing.
Support -
very good
Excellent support, with live hosts, telephone and e-mail support, in fact, all that would would expect from a top notch Sportsbook.
Cash out speed is reasonable and most deposit and withdrawal methods are supported.
